SAFETY TIPS

1. Check with your health care provider prior to beginning any activities sent from Dabblesack.
2. Always provide close supervision when the recipient is performing any activities sent from Dabblesack.
3. Be aware that some people with dementia may put small items in their mouths which can become a choking hazard. Supervise at all times.
4. Ensure that there are no small items sent from Dabblesack that have fallen onto a lap, the seat of a chair, the floor, etc. These can
become choking or fall hazards.
5. Store all items sent from Dabblesack away safely when not in use and keep small items and balloons away from pets and small children as these items can become choking or fall hazards.
6. When performing seated activities sent from Dabblesack, keep feet on the floor. Do not perform activities from the edge of the chair or reach too far forward, as this can be a fall hazard. Additionally, if performing these activities from a wheelchair, keep brakes locked.
7. When tossing objects to a small target, keep the target on a tabletop. When playing a game of catch or racquet games, keep
a close distance from each other for proper supervision (allowing safe clearance for racquet swing). Play toss, catch, and racquet activities from a seated position.
