Swing & Dance Dabblet Fidget / Soother for Dementia / Alzheimer's (soft fabric on back)

A Dabblet is a fabric fidget / soother created by Dabblesack to address certain needs that can stem from dementia / Alzheimer's.

Dabblets are designed with two different sides. Side one has a printed fabric that contains engaging pictures and is meant to encourage conversation and reminiscing. Side two contains a soft plush fabric called "Minky" that can help soothe and comfort and offer a relaxing, tactile experience when held or stroked.

Two different lengths of fringe on each end of the Dabblet provide an additional opportunity to fidget. 

Dabblets can be used on a tabletop or draped over your lap. They can also just be held for comfort.

A water-resistant card with ten conversation prompts and several suggested complementary activities is included with each Dabblet. Use these cards as a springboard for conversation and socialization.

SIZE: Each Dabblet measures approximately 9 3/4" x 12 1/2" (not including fringe). Fringe measures approximately 5" on one side and 2" on the other.

FABRIC: Front: 100% cotton. Back: 100% polyester. Trim: 100% polyester or 51% polyester; 49% cotton.

Dabblets are made by hand in U.S.A. of materials made in U.S.A. or imported.

Fringe colors and Minky fabric colors on back may vary.

For each Swing & Dance Dabblet sold, one dollar will be donated to a non-profit that supports the Alzheimer's movement. This donation is made in honor of Doris Woodward, mother of Loretta Veney.
